Even though its barely into the 50's temperature wise and rainy I'm still grilling. Made potato salad and deviled eggs that are chilling and just threw a thick London Broil on the grill. Later some ears of corn will be thrown on the grill. Feasting and watching horror films all day.

I need to find John Carpenter's Captain Voyeur, a student film he made in 1969, showcasing tools he'd later use in Halloween (heavy breathing, voyeur pov shots, etc). I only just found out about it this morning.


Also, I've been brewing a slasher book concept for a while now, kind of Street Trash meets CHUD (no mutants) meets Soilent Green mixed with Halloween and TCM. Just had an epiphany that helps me move forward to outlining it while taking a shower, so I'm pretty excited about that lol.
