Had an interview today. I applied for a full time inventory position, they interviewed me for a part time receiving position. Also wanted me to work 60+ hours a week(somehow while still being part time?) with no guarantee of a having a job after the holidays. Straight up told the guy my back is fucked, so I'm not looking for physical labor and left. Bummer since it's the only place that's responded recently.

Sucks companies are trying to pull that shit. People think I'm lying when I state "yeah, they advertise full time, but in the interview, they'll say 'we only have part-time available' hoping that since you made it there you'll take it."

Yeah, I'm used to that shit, but the "completely different job with crazy hours that's somehow considered part time" was a new one for me. Not sure how it's legal to have someone work those hours and still be part time, just so they can deny you benefits.
