So Will Smith slapped the shit out of Chris Rock live during the Oscars for talking about his wife. Still wouldn't get me to watch it
I haven't been to a show in about 10 years so maybe this is the going rate,I don't know
Shows are going up because artists don't make jack with record sales anymore. It really started with the Eagles' Hell Freezes Over tour back in '94. And yes.... those fees are total bullshit.
All true, except Lars fucked up by suing the fans. Talk about cutting off the nose to spite the face, fuck. But his anger was total common sense, all these fuckers are getting my shit for free at click of a button damnit.Jmac Attack wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:14 amShows are going up because artists don't make jack with record sales anymore. 20 plus years later and I can say that Lars was right about Napster etc. Lol
Why was Rock in the wrong?DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:33 am God damn that's a lot of money for Duran Duran.
I missed the first 2/3ds of the Oscars last night, but was so glad I got to see the slap live. Both were totally in the wrong, but Will probably ruined his career, at least for a few years. What a shame too, because I was rooting for him to win, and now the slap overshadows his win.
I thought they were known for being more expensive but I guess notReign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:31 am What do you mean of all places? Ticketmaster isn't the place to go anymore? That's the only place I ever got tickets! Outside of someone giving them to me or summat.
Whoever wrote that joke for him was more in the wrong but he could of decided not to do it. Smith gets 99% of the blame for me though.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:35 amWhy was Rock in the wrong?DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:33 am God damn that's a lot of money for Duran Duran.

Alright then. I thought you were just trying to make me feel senile and antiquated. That's our word for the day, Tigg, antiquated. Rolls off the tongue nicely really.Tiggnutz wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:37 amI thought they were known for being more expensive but I guess notReign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:31 am What do you mean of all places? Only that it was a mediocre joke that was in bad taste.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:35 amWhy was Rock in the wrong?DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:33 am God damn that's a lot of money for Duran Duran.

If the crime it was a lame ass joke, I agree.Tiggnutz wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:39 amWhoever wrote that joke for him was more in the wrong but he could of decided not to do it.
