Looks like I'm moving to LA around the end of june. That's assuming I can still get a job with my buddy down there. If not, I'm boned.

I've been checking for apartments down there and it's pretty similar to rent here. I also checked out some crime maps to find places to avoid. Turns out it has less crime than where I used to live in florida, so that's nice. They only beat it in car theft, everything else was much higher in florida.

That movie has some serious problems, but thank fuck for D's siggy, because the cinematography, lightning was so dark and camerawork so jumpy, 5 minutes into the chase and I can't tell what the fucking Batmobile is. Is it cool, no, fucked if I know. You done fucked up I can't see the cool shit. Rest Of Bat flicks are dark too, this was Alien vs Predator fail.

The funny thing is, everyone I've talked to since I moved doesn't believe me when I say florida is a shithole. They just think sun and beaches, they don't think about the crazies, the cunts, the drugs, the crime, the six plus months of hurricanes, the insane humidity, the absurd amount of bugs that want to eat you, that it's mostly swamp, and is solely designed for retirees and vacationers, so there's fuckall to do if you live there. And people think florida man is a meme. Florida man is more than half the population.

I watched it earlier. Didn't have an issue with darkness, so it may have been whatever copy you got, though the chase scene wasn't exactly filmed in a way that anything would be very visible anyway. I thought it was good, but a bit odd. Never pegged the RIddler for a Jigsaw wannabe. And there were some weird plotholes. Nothing major, but shit like the batmobile being right next to the drug warehouse even though it sounds like a fucking jet taking off when he drives the thing.

Sounds like L.A. is getting safer like Baltimore.

Tuesday: "Statistically more people are prosecuted for punching old ladies in the face in just about every other city. We are making a difference crime is going down."
