When I saw new Mission Impossible at the theater, I hadn't seen the previous one, but I was able to stream the previous one of my phone at the same time. So it was like PnP 2 for 1 deal, it was amazing.

Action scenes in Dead Reck are off the chain, BTW. Top 3 car chase and battle on top a train that tops Speed. That insane cliff jump stunt is only 20 seconds, so while Cruise is a badass it was a bit too quick. Really amazing stuff on the big screen though.

The others are the equivalent of sitting in a dumpster they are not options. I will no longer step over a pile of human shit to see a movie in a theater that is more sticky than a peep show floor

Wick and the MI movies are the standard for action now. So much better than the green screen Disney crap

And while y'all are doing fun things, I'm gonna be spending the weekend preparing to meet a state senator on Monday.

A pardon would be governor.

Not even the US senator for the state, but our local state senator.

So, it turns out that one of our residents used to work for JFK when he was a senator (and she worked for Henry Kissinger and Karl Rove apparently. She absolutely hates Karl Rove, lol.) and our local senator got wind of it and wants to meet her. My boss set it up with the hopes of getting an eye on our place and some local coverage for free publicity, lol. I have to go to take pictures and help my boss.

Back in college when I was in the University Democrats, I met a handful of state senators and state reps (even got paid $60 for phonebanking for one, once). Of course, a Democratic in Indiana is among one of the saddest things possible, so hopefully I brightened their day some. :P
