Night Gallery (1969-1973)

Picked up the entire series on DVD at Wal-Mart a few days ago. Don't believe I've ever seen one episode and can't remember ever hearing of it. There is a strange familiarity with Rod Serling as the host of the show, though. I watched the first episode last night, or at least the first story. I can't tell if there are multiple stories to one episode. I just selected "Play all". :p . It was a little bit over a half hour long, and a solid story. The acting is surprisingly well for it being a horror short. There is a character in that first story that does a tremendous job making you hate him. Plus, it just feels good to watch something in the horror genre with that old school feel to it.

Based on one episode, it's looking like it's gonna be a very solid series.
