New Mutants trailer out.
Is this horror, guys? This trailer reeks of some type of attempt, at least.

I'm getting old. Hollywood Horror Nights caused hell on my back and legs. Still have some plans today too, maybe squeeze in a 4th viewing of It just so I can have it on the challenge.

I did make a stick eye during the tram ride when Chucky boasted he killed more than the others did in less movies (they did a rundown on Leatherface, then Freddy, then Jason before introducing Chucky).
I knew it was off, so I double checked this morning: Chucky over 7 movies: 48 (or less, some might have counted for Tiffany in Bride, and my reference didn't specify who the killer was). Jason over his first FOUR (where he's the killer- 2,3,4 and 6): 52.
So yeah, my stink eye at Chucky's boast is justified

why did myers not get a mention? have leatherface and freddy killed more than him? that doesn't seem likely to me.
also, would killing the same character (with a different actor) count against the kill tally or not?

the director intended it to be a x-men-type horror movie. it looks like it has elements of horror, to me, but i'll reserve judgment til i see the movie as a whole.

Indeed. I'm certainly not interested at all in the X-Men franchise (as far as I'm concerned, X2 was a good stopping point)
, but if it's horror enough, and it certainly looks possible, I'll certainly want to see it and add that to my list. I have a feeling it'd stand out.

x-men: first class, days of future past, logan, and deadpool are all worth seeing, as far as the fox x-men films go. but x2 is probably my favorite of all the stuff they've done so far.

My (almost) irrational hatred of First Class is legendary - don't mention it in my presence again.

If she can play the the religious nutcase that Wolfsbane was in the comics, she should be a good choice. [Not dissing Wolfsbane - in the original New Mutants run, she's one of my favorite characters.]

Off the top of my head, my Fox-Men list goes:
1. Logan
2. X2
3. Deadpool
4. Days Of Future Past
5. X-Men
6. The Wolverine
7. First Class
8. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
9. The Last Stand
10. Apocalypse
I feel like I'm missing one...
