Is it time Apu is edited out of The Simpsons like Mammy Two Shoes was edited out of Tom and Jerry?

No, to both. It's ridiculous.

i thought that was gonna be something about censoring entertainment. but if this is the direction you want the thread to take now... i think they should do something about the incentivization. can 7-11 hire illegal immigrants at a cheaper rate than they pay american employees? that definitely should be corrected. that never should have been allowed.

The raid was more for the owners and management that obtained fraudulent identifications to hire and than under pay illegal immigrants.

Or, you know, not hire illegals at all, because that is illegal...

And yeah, I re-purposed the thread. Cuz I am an environmentalist.

hiring illegals is one major way that they are incentivized. you're not arguing anything that i didn't already.

I’ve akways said that the thing to fix is the people hiring illegals. That’s the source of the problem.

Indeed. But seriously, there will always be a way for people to get in. Removing the incentive goes a long way.

I would argue that the ones not being hired are the most dangerous. Everyone should use the legal process. Otherwise, you are a criminal from day one.

You have to look at the mindset of the illegal, which is, "I don't care what your laws are, I am going to do what I want and take what I want.". Very dangerous.

You still wouldn’t want me in a position of power.

are they going to address the controversy within the show? like give apu some kind of positive message or something? that doesn't sound like censorship to me. but i get why you might not like it, still.
