Re: February 18th 2018
I love how there is a flyer the apartment management put on everyones doors a week ago, talking about noise, including music, to be considerate of neighbors due to the thin walls and everything, and now my neighbors have been blasting their shitty mexican music ever since.

Reminded me of this mock the week clip about Mexican music.

Is Winchester good? Thinking about seeing it.
Was gonna see Hostiles, but I've heard the main draw back is replacing historic truth with political correctness, so I'll just wait for DVD and judge it myself then?

Cooking southern collard greens with andouille sausage and ham
Re: February 18th 2018
When I consume collard greens, I just throw it in a blender with kale/spinach/mustard greens/carrots/orange juice/water.Tiggnutz wrote:Cooking southern collard greens with andouille sausage and ham
Never had it cooked, I don't think. Sausage is excellent.
Re: February 18th 2018
Also, as far as Hostiles, I'd like to know if anyone has seen it, and if you can confirm or disconfirm the lack of hinesty and political correctness...
Re: February 18th 2018
i thought that hostiles was fictional? ginger snaps back was set in the past, but is not historically accurate either. cause it's fictional.
Re: February 18th 2018
I actually want to start making something like that to have for lunch a smoothie I guess.Jason wrote:When I consume collard greens, I just throw it in a blender with kale/spinach/mustard greens/carrots/orange juice/water.Tiggnutz wrote:Cooking southern collard greens with andouille sausage and ham

Re: February 18th 2018
movies should be judged on the content of the movie, by the way. if it sucks as a movie, it's not going to be made better because it's historically accurate. why does some lack of historical accuracy suddenly make a movie suck? and would you even have known whether it was or not, if you hadn't read it online?
braveheart wasn't completely accurate, historically. i dare you to call it a bad movie.

What makes a fictional film politically correct?
Re: February 18th 2018
I know next to nothing about this movie. That's why I'm inquiring here. Lol
Re: February 18th 2018
i don't see anything about the movie having any actual historical figures to get wrong. from what i've read, it's just a western based on a story some guy wrote in the 80s.

the bias of the person watching it, or hearing about it from other people.showa58taro wrote:What makes a fictional film politically correct?

That’s what I heard. So I don’t know that they can make it PC with nothing but the story.

But you’re asking if it’ll hurt your sensitive feelings by having a political message you don’t agree with. Total snowflake behavior. Stay in your safe space buddy.Jason wrote:I haven't seen it, u retards!
Re: February 18th 2018
so, what was it that you heard was done to push the liberal agenda?Jason wrote:I haven't seen it, u retards!
Re: February 18th 2018
I'm asking if it substitutes truth with political correctness. Apparently the entire movie is fiction.showa58taro wrote:But you’re asking if it’ll hurt your sensitive feelings by having a political message you don’t agree with. Total snowflake behavior. There are also degrees of fiction. A story can be totally false, the characters, the events, etc... but if a fully fictional movie takes place in the 1870s, odds are you will still see people riding horseback, etc...
