I have no doubt he was a brilliant man, but the nature of his disability is what make him iconic and his death newsworthy.

I believe "A Brief History of Time" is probably second only to the bible in terms of lowest purchase to actually read ratio.

But the measure of his brilliance isn’t in how many books he sold.
