Since I finished my reading material this morning, I decided to actually test how Netflix worked on my phone for my commute home, and watched The Wretched.

I actually really dug the movie. I'd say best new watch so far...but it's only 4 days in :P

Blows my mind I was actually in Dixon CA last here around this time (grandma's funeral), and this movie was filmed there, and I actually passed the corn-maze and pumpkin patch it was filmed at multiple times.

That was actually better than expected. Still not good, but not the trash I was expecting.

Legitimately enjoyed seeing Freddy's Dead again. I already ranked it above The Dream Child, but I think I'd also rank it above The Dream Master, and it ties with Freddy's Revenge in something like third place (after the original and Dream Warriors). Definitely a messy movie in some aspects, but a pretty solid watch.

Late start to challenge. Playing catch up...
Muloch was really good. Definitely a movie to watch in the dark. Sole Survivor was corny but kept me entertained. Trick or Treats was just meh. Extra Ordinary was so much fun. It reminded me of The Frighteners but goofier. The whole dick stick had me laughing.

The special effects are great there. It's a damn shame the rest of the movie is so dull.

Absolutely wasted some great special effects on this. I wanted to give it a C+ because I thought it was hysterical almost like a Troma film but its just bad

Right!!?? I really dig the True North series that Kevin Smith has been doing. Moose Jaws is the 3rd one that still has to be made. Yoga Hosers is the other and I absolutely loved that one. Kevin Smith has been on fire for a while now, imo.
