Yeah I’m not sure where it’s from but I did see this spreading on Elon’s cesspool Twitter, assume it has also made the rounds on Facebook. So much garbage gets circulated with no checks.

I don’t advocate for trans women participating in women’s sports but this is a pretty good example of how the trans panic can also hurt biological females. Saw a bunch of these “transvestigators” attacking US women’s rugby star Ilona Maher. Any woman perceived as masculine looking will have to deal with these kind of attacks now. It does suck.

i haven't seen much evidence that trans-inclusion is actually damaging the sport they're in. but sometimes trans athletes are forced into competing against those of their birth gender and dominating. (like a trans man being forced to fight women) and also shit like this where women are accused of being trans for just being "too manly".

but if it is happening, i think that should be addressed and worked out.

For practical safety reasons in a sport like boxing, you could make a case that there should be some kind of imposed limit on testosterone levels of the women competing, which would also affect women like this Algerian boxer who suffer from hyperandrogenism. But it’s pretty cruel to deny a woman her womanhood for a condition she can’t control. This story is just gross all around. So much hate in the world.

i can see that in general. no featherweights in the welter weight division. but sometimes "biological advantage" can be tricky especially in combat type sports. no one told andre the giant that he couldn't grapple a smaller guy.
