the burning is the only other horror flick i can think with any kind of baseball scene. did any of the friday the 13ths do it, and i'm just forgetting?

I think baseball bats may have been used, but not for playing baseball.

Ya see, on a dark and stormy night in the summer of '78, the Baseball Furies came across two unsuspecting schmucks in the park, known as the Fountain Drink Kings. One liked Coke and the other Mountain Dew, always suckling away. Well the Fountain Drink Kings got jumped that night, didn't see it coming because too busy bottoming out that soda, and the Baseball Furies beat them until their skin ripped from the bats, chunk after chunk. It was brutal.
