Ah, this should be fun.
Voting for Claudia De la Cruz myself. She's the nominee of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, and here in Indiana, she is a certified write-in option.
Out of interest, what state do you live in?

If he's posting Brooklyn Dad tweets, I wish I was retired from daily political chats.

Brooklyn Dad was a huge 9/11 truther but had to stop talking about it for optics / Democrat money.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

Really? I didn't know that. I just know he's the go-to for the cringe VBNMW types. Had no idea of his sordid beginnings.Headhunter wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:11 pmBrooklyn Dad was a huge 9/11 truther but had to stop talking about it for optics / Democrat money.

The average mainstream Democrat was a lot weirder and more interesting 20 years ago. Too many of them have teacher’s pet personalities now.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:12 pmHeadhunter wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:11 pmBrooklyn Dad was a huge 9/11 truther but had to stop talking about it for optics / Democrat money.

Ah, New York. The state with the worst ballot access in the country. If I recall, New York is the only state that will only have two options on the ballot this year (being Trump and Harris, of course).
Oklahoma used to be in the same vein. Between the 2004 and 2012 presidential elections, only the Democrat and Republican nominees were listed. In 2016, they actually had a third option, being Gary Johnson (Libertarian). In 2020, they had a total of six people on their ballot. This year, I think they have around five (including RFK Jr., who withdrew but is still on plenty of ballots).
God, I'd hate to live in New York. At least in Indiana, I have the chance to vote for a worthy candidate. If I were in New York, I'd leave the presidential ballot blank.

You could probably look at it as though they're trying to combine their strength against Trump, I suppose.Headhunter wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:14 pmThe average mainstream Democrat was a lot weirder and more interesting 20 years ago. But we've also come a really far way since 2004. I maintain that Bush was a more dangerous president than Trump (which you may or may not agree with), but to hear Democrats nowadays, Trump seems by far the worse of the two.

No I’d generally agree with that. A lot of it is just circumstances, Trump didn’t have a 9/11. It’s tough to beat endless war based on lies + Katrina + global economic collapse.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:19 pmYou could probably look at it as though they're trying to combine their strength against Trump, I suppose.Headhunter wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:14 pmThe average mainstream Democrat was a lot weirder and more interesting 20 years ago. Bush (W) was a piece of shit and the worst POTUS (so far) in my lifetime. Trump was bad but not near Bush level imo.
