When you work hard, sometimes you don't get to play hard after.

For yous computer inclined, is there any reason I should go with an external solid state drive for storage over a USB flash drive? I can get 2 TB flash drive for like 10 bucks, where 2 TB Ext. SSD are around 10 times that, usually around ~100 bucks. I can't fathom why I wouldn't get the smaller flash? I know the Ext SSD should transfer files faster but who gives a shit, it's for storage, nothing live or fast is needed.

If it's just for storage then I would go with the USB flash drive. Fuck spending more when you don't need too. I have used USB flash drives for years for my storage needs. Never had any problems.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 8:56 am For yous computer inclined, is there any reason I should go with an external solid state drive for storage over a USB flash drive? For 10 bucks just try the flash drive and see if it fits your needs. If it doesn't your only out 10 bones and you can use it for something else like midget milf pornReign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 8:56 am For yous computer inclined, is there any reason I should go with an external solid state drive for storage over a USB flash drive? If you don't care about transfer speeds, the only real difference is durability. An external drive is harder to fuck up than a usb drive. The only other thing would be that a usb drive would be easier to misplace, since it's so small.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 8:56 am For yous computer inclined, is there any reason I should go with an external solid state drive for storage over a USB flash drive? Alright, that's what I was thinking, making sure I wasn't missing something. Not worth the price for me. Thanks for the replies, gents.Slaughterhouserock wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 11:54 amIf you don't care about transfer speeds, the only real difference is durability.
