I don't remember it being dull but that could be the Sydney Sweeney effect on me...

Change that to rewatch
I remember in some distant past October Challenge saying out loud "Damn there ain't no Banshees in this bitch!!"
This is a snoozer no wonderI forgot it. 10 years from now I will probably watch it again thinking it's a Vincent Price new watch about Banshees

some neat trivia for immaculate from wikipedia. if it's true.

Much of the film was shot at Villa Parisi and the Doria Pamphilj Gallery. Villa Parisi had previously been used as a location for several horror films, including Hatchet for the Honeymoon (1970), A Bay of Blood (1971), Blood for Dracula (1974) and Burial Ground (1981).

Best horror movie of the 21st century?!?!
i can not abide your blasphemous tongue (or fingers)! :P
It gave me literal goosebumps. It wasn't overly dramatic. No overacting. Completely unpredictable. Unique. It just hit the spot for me. Is it the best of the 21st century? It is absolutely in the conversation.

"in the conversation" seems more fair.

I can't say definitively that it is the best of this century, but I also cannot definitively think of a movie in the last 24 years that is for sure better. It could be top 5. It could be 1. I really don't know. But it's right there with It Follows, Let The Right One In, etc...

I've heard absolutely amazing things about that movie, but I'll take a pass. Probably looking for something a bit happier :P

there is a rule against it. i've tried before to get away with it, once with commentary and one without. and it's a no go. :P
Yep, this is also why it's a bummer when Joe Bob does his Halloween special for the month and we have no idea what they're showing ahead of time, and sometimes we've already watched it in the challenge lol.

Not worth 30 in my opinion
I'd like to bang out a back-to-back when I have extra time and watch both Salem's Lot and Return but if Return is that bad I'll just stick with a rewatch of Salem's Lot and move on.
It's pretty lousy, and really doesn't have anything to do with 'Salem's Lot other than the title. Sure, it pretends to be the same town and all, but Larry should've just stuck with an original setting than try to make a quick buck with a "sequel".

Watched that last night. It was hard to stay awake. I did like the kills. But man, even the kills were slow!! Nice. But slow. :P
This blows
Dodged a bullet not seeing this in theaters
This went to theaters?

That's kind of the consensus reading I've gotten from it. Reeks of a rushed movie to gain money. I'll pass and just watch the original miniseries.

our top fives will just have to be significantly different. :P
