Mandy is an acid-dropping good time. Longlegs is very dark and disturbing and a somewhat slow burn. Just depends on your mood and general preference, I guess.

like a more horror-y 8mm in tone?
Takes place in the 70s and 90s, but filmed in modernity for the most part. It's quite good. I preferred Late Night with the Devil a little better in terms of enjoyability.

About to start The Killing of a Sacred Deer
Worst movie of all time.
I strongly suspect it's better than Skinamarink
It's less boring than Skinamarink but it's one of those movies where the plot itself and twists just annoy you for two hours. It's at the bottom of the never-watch-that-shit-again pile.

Skinamarink is on my list of "movies that I'll likely never see," because every time I even read about that movie, I start feeling drowsy. I don't think I'll ever work up the tolerance to actually give that movie a try.

it was definitely over-hyped in horror circles when it was released. i wish i could take back my watch.
