2nd movie this challenge/week that's a new watch and has Bill Camp in it as a supporting role. I'd say he was underused in Salem's Lot, but given I hear that was originally 6 hours, it seems like EVERYONE was underused in that 114 minutes.

No. I just never got a horror vibe from how I pictured the movie in my head. lol. Thought it was probably an action thriller more than horror.

It does fit will with Suspense/Thriller as well, but I hate using "thriller" as a genre because it covers *so* much. It's just a movie that thrills. Technically, all horror can be thrillers (but not all thrillers are horror).

Part of me doesn't want to include it because I am still high on When Evil Lurks and want it to win my favorite new viewing for the month and I feel like Duel has a good chance of being better. :P

Basket Case 3 is definitely next on the list for tonight. After that probably Salem's Lot and Alien/Aliens, then possibly Duel.

Go in with low expectations. It's not his worst, not even his worst tv movie.

Yeah this feels like trying to make What About Bob into a horror movie directed by Kubrick.

Only no where as engaging.

Not going to the police just seems incredibly ignorant. They glazed over an excuse, but it doesn't hold up.
