Robert Shaw playing a guy like Grant and then a guy like Quint is such a testament to his acting ability. Underrated.

Man. Jaws really is a fantastic movie. And I love this scene with Quint and Hooper chumming it up at night in the boat, comparing scars and telling stories. Adds a great deal of humanity to the movie.

I first saw Jaws some 30 years ago and I will never forget the horror and despair I felt for Quint when he gets annihilated by that shark.
