DIdn't care for it myself, but I'm well-known for disliking Cronenberg, so that's not a shock.

Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
I think I will try a massive double feature of Salem's Lot and IT on Wednesday. This is gonna be a crazy back-to-back viewing of movies. Papa needs some watch time.

They carry it, but the nearest one was like 300 miles away or some stupid shit. And there are like 5 Walmarts within a ten miles radius of me and they couldn't get one GD copy of the movie?zombie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 7:56 pmnice. weird that walmart wouldn't carry it, but nice all the same.
I hate Best Buy. I hate Walmart.

yeah, bestbuy sucks lately. i've heard that walmart was actually growing their bluray and dvd section lately compared to what it had been. but your experience speaks different. and i haven't gone looking for myself.Jason wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 7:57 pmThey carry it, but the nearest one was like 300 miles away or some stupid shit. Haven't seen the original Blob but I'm pretty sure you can probably go fuck yourself with that statement.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Best Buy was fairly reliable in terms of movies coming to physical media and being in stock nearby. They bitched out and got rid of physical, then ghetto ass Walmart took over and it's been a disaster.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 7:59 pmyeah, bestbuy sucks lately. i've heard that walmart was actually growing their bluray and dvd section lately compared to what it had been. but your experience speaks different. and i haven't gone looking for myself.Jason wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 7:57 pmThey carry it, but the nearest one was like 300 miles away or some stupid shit.
