I don't think this movie aged as well as many believe it does, that was a very clunky opening 20 minutes.

got through two from 88 this morning. i preferred dream demon to primal rage, but neither was a lot to speak of. now i'm moving onto the devil's bath.

Yeah. It was good. I would have appreciated it a bit more I think if I had watched it as a kid.

I'm going 6.2 on Ghoulies.

I've long been on the opinion that The Innocents is a far better movie than The Haunting. I've seen The Haunting twice, and sure, it has atmosphere, and that staircase, but overall, I'm pretty lukewarm on it.

Bloody Birthday is next!

Much of this challenge (when it comes to revisiting movies) has been dedicated to revisiting the ones I haven't seen in 5-10 years or more. I remember quite liking this one. Only really remember depraved little shits running around killin' folks.

He wasn't a very good caretaker of his St. Bernard either, but his older sister was still fuck'n fine when she crossdressed to prove a point in High School :P

I think the last time I watched this was back in the early years of our October Challenges. It overall just doesn't hold up over the years. It's too long for what little it has going on, and was clunky getting things going. I still like it a lot more than the 90's remake, which the biggest sin of that version was the awful CGI and casting Owen Wilson (which if they made his demise graphic, I would've been happier with him).

eight eyes was kind of a mix of texas chainsaw massacre and martyrs, or that's how it felt to me. i didn't really care for it though, in the end.

i'm really liking huesera so far. reminds me of the way that asian horror builds scares and such. i haven't seen a lot of mexican horror to be fair so maybe they tend to do it this way too.

Check out Satanic Hispanics if you want more mexican horror. It's got Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite in it.
