Life. Just couldn't swing the showing today. Which is unfortunate because Tuesday is 5-dollar movie day. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow or later in the week.
I did actually enjoy The Descent better than the Terrifier movies, which might surprise zomb. lol. Went from really disliking it in my original two viewings to actually liking it but still despising the creatures.

it does surprise. you do seem to be more into the slasher-y sleaze kind of thing.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 6:49 pmLife. Just couldn't swing the showing today. Which is unfortunate because Tuesday is 5-dollar movie day. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow or later in the week.

Gore for the sake of gore doesn't really do too much for me. I appreciate the depth of The Descent plot more.zombie wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 6:55 pmit does surprise. you do seem to be more into the slasher-y sleaze kind of thing.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 6:49 pmLife. She's like 3 movies deep in this challenge. She doesn't know the glorious hell I've endured.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 7:18 pmPfft, he's been watching and saving movies for the wife. About to start up Sometimes They Come Back... Again (1996), which I've not seen in nine+ years.
Still, that cast, tho...
Michael Gross, Hilary Swank, Patrick Renna, William Morgan Sheppard - what more do you need in life?

terrifier 2 had a pretty cool plot from what i recall. doesn't match the descent but still isn't just gore for the sake of gore alone.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 7:17 pmGore for the sake of gore doesn't really do too much for me.
