Thought the first was good for what it was. Unfortunately the Smile movies seem to be the modern movies that will carry the most weight with the general public as far as which horror movies will be considered classics.

I'm talking overall popularity. More peeps will have seen Smile than When Evil Lurks. Smile just seems to the "in" franchise at the moment. It's like actually making fetch happen.

well, yeah. released wide theatrically will mean more eyes on it. but more people have seen i know what you did last summer than black christmas. again, take it how you will.
