Smile 2 is the king new viewing for worst of the challenge!
yikes. that sucks.
Im going 1.8 for the movie. It would've been in the 0s if not for the nice touch ending. Holy fuck that movie was insufferable.

how did it fall so far from the first for you?
I have 38 paragraphs of frustration in me, but in short, no character was likeable, the main chick is the person you root for in every slasher movie to die first, yet, we're supposed to feel sympathetic for her. There were countless jump scares of the cheapest kind and the most annoying and loudest noises possible that could damage your ear drums. Just crap.

She's good in Freaky
agreed. that's a fun one.
I've been a fan since her episodes of Supernatural
who was she on supernatural? amy acker, katharine isabelle, emily perkins, felicia day... but i don'\t remember kathryn newton... i'll have to revisit.
She was human-Cas's daughter that became a junior hunter.

I'm saying First Omen could of been released in October there wouldn't have been much competition and I think it makes more money. I should have a new horror film every weekend in October

Lisa Frankenstein would of surely made substantially more money if it's released this weekend instead of February

Had to wash out the disgusting taste of Smile 2 and put in My Bloody Valentine (1981) to end the night last night. Went 9.6 on that one.

Now onto Alien (1979)

Agreed. But I can see the new business model some have, like Beetlejuice was smart. They released and cleaned up in theaters in September, now released to rent/buy on streaming for Halloween.

I think that one was actually probably good marketing, it actually plays well for Valentine's Day as a date movie as it's going to attract the Twilight crowd more than hardcore horror.

I'm talking the more mid horror movies that could use the Seasonal boost. Wolfman and Nosferatu should be hitting theaters now.
