Could've easily been an 80 minute movie.

IMDb gives a runtime of an hour and 37 minutes, whereas Letterboxd gives 80 mins. On Amazon Prime, it's 78 minutes. :P
All I can say is that I'm glad it wasn't an hour and 37 minutes. That 3.2/10 on IMDb ain't lying fam. :P

I've seen Phantasm like 20 times but it's been a while and I totally forgot about Mike's reaction when the tits come out at the cemetery. Lol

Now onto Creepshow.

Is there a better Anthology horror movie? I know many, many, have tried since, and there are some good ones (Creepshow 2, Trick R Treat), but I don't think any of them have quite hit the high mark this one does.

Trilogy of Terror is really good.

Creepshow is king though.

One of the things I'm thinking that helps the good ones are keeping a consistent director throughout. Many new ones just take short films from many different directors, and then they just string them together.

I really only remember the doll story from Trilogy of Terror, which was definitely a good bit. No memory on the other stories.

I'll probably rewatch it in a day or two. I remember the first two stories being pretty decent but the everyone remembers the final story.

The Raft remains my favorite of the stories in Creepshow, but I still wonder what the hell the appeal of driving 50 miles out to this water hole just because a raft was left out lol. Was that area in Arizona THAT dull?

Decoys (2004) was a lot more fun than I expected. Occasionally too goofy for my liking, but still had a good time with it.

Now onto my first-time watch of Howling IV: The Original Nightmare. Hoping for glory, expecting not-so-great werewolf movie. :P

I stand corrected. Best movie of the first four? Quite possibly. Still not great, but we're not talking a particularly strong series here, based on my experience. :P

From IMDb: "The budget was so low that the movie had to be made without sound. All the audio had to be dubbed in during post-production."

I was wondering why the dialogue sounded odd. If true, this definitely adds up.

Because it follows the book more closely, I had a feeling Jig would love it, even though it's pretty ass lol. (the book is barely mediocre to begin with, its sequel books are much better though)
