i think that a lot of problems with illegal drugs, trafficking and cartels will go away if it's legal and well-regulated. it would probably help a bit with the border too.

Depends on your interpretation of the article. If you're reading the quote and not trying to expand its meaning in your head, a citizen's right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed is kinda straight forward.
