If you listen to what he, himself, is actually saying and not what the media puts into his mouth, it's pretty crystal clear that he simply wants vaccines subjected to the same scientific rigor as all the other medications that the FDA brings to the market so people can be fully informed of their choices and the studies that went on with the vaccines they may or may not get.

don't do that crap! you don't have to be sanctimonious to me. if you think i'm wrong, tell me! just do it in a way that isn't dismissive or insulting to me. i can take being told i'm wrong. i can't take being told in a smug or condescending way that i'm wrong.

Pretty wrong about RFK.
Re: Trumpster Fire 2025
give me a summation of what you think his position is? and do you see any reason to have valid concerns or criticisms toward him?Jason wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:41 pmI don't know if you're wrong about RFK, I just think you are most likely wrong.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:40 pmdon't do that crap! you don't have to be sanctimonious to me. if you think i'm wrong, tell me! just do it in a way that isn't dismissive or insulting to me. i can take being told i'm wrong. i can't take being told in a smug or condescending way that i'm wrong.

maybe so. his heart could be in the right place when it comes to his vaccine hesitancy. but good intentions can also pave the path to hell.

I don't love his environmental position, so there's that as far as a valid criticism as far as my concern is personally.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 4:16 pmgive me a summation of what you think his position is? and do you see any reason to have valid concerns or criticisms toward him?Jason wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:41 pmI don't know if you're wrong about RFK, I just think you are most likely wrong.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:40 pmdon't do that crap! you don't have to be sanctimonious to me. if you think i'm wrong, tell me! just do it in a way that isn't dismissive or insulting to me. i can take being told i'm wrong. i can't take being told in a smug or condescending way that i'm wrong.
As far as his position in the Trump cabinet he's mainly trying to get the ultra processed ingredients out of our food. The obesity epidemic in the U.S. coincided with ultra processed foods and the increase in ingredients consisting of a lot of unnecessary and unhealthy bull shit. I'm not an expert but I am interested in the stuff and do a lot of my own research and it really seems to match the conclusions that I come up with personally. So I would say I fully trust him on the health food front.
As far as vaccines he found that there was a dramatic increase in autism that he traced to vaccines from 1989. I'd have to find where he talked about this because it's not fully fresh in my head but it's something close to that.
Re: Trumpster Fire 2025
Yes. And to clarify, I mean by the party that he is supporting, not the podcast host. lol. and now that he switched to the republican party, it still applies. It's more of a testament to his personality at heart. He seems to be a very open guy and will let you in. That's not to say I think he is, or will be, manipulated. But his openness and honesty makes him susceptible.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 4:49 pmdo you still feel that way?Jason wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 7:00 pmI get the vibe from listening to him on podcasts that he is susceptible to being manipulated.Headhunter wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 6:57 pm While I can appreciate “the CIA killed my dad and brother” as a political talking point, I don’t trust the RFK campaign. Re: Trumpster Fire 2025
he probably talked about it on several places. but i know he did on rogan. i can hear it and still be skeptical. he can have a skepticism and start from a good place and the outcome still could be horrible. let's hope it's not, i guess.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 1:26 amI don't love his environmental position, so there's that as far as a valid criticism as far as my concern is personally.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 4:16 pmgive me a summation of what you think his position is? and do you see any reason to have valid concerns or criticisms toward him?Jason wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:41 pmI don't know if you're wrong about RFK, I just think you are most likely wrong.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:40 pmdon't do that crap! you don't have to be sanctimonious to me. if you think i'm wrong, tell me! just do it in a way that isn't dismissive or insulting to me. i can take being told i'm wrong. i can't take being told in a smug or condescending way that i'm wrong.

I have been given vaccines over the years, including the Flu and Covid ones and never had any problems.

yeah, rfk reportedly has taken vaccines too. and he photo op-ed support of fastfood that he believes to be unhealthy as it is currently. he is more than willing to say one thing and do another.Lazerus wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:38 amI have been given vaccines over the years, including the Flu and Covid ones and never had any problems.

He never said he didn't take vaccines, he wants to know why they are not tested to the same standard as other medications.zombie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:27 amyeah, rfk reportedly has taken vaccines too. and he photo op-ed support of fastfood that he believes to be unhealthy as it is currently. he is more than willing to say one thing and do another.Lazerus wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:38 amI have been given vaccines over the years, including the Flu and Covid ones and never had any problems.

asking questions alone is not what he was brought into trump's cabinet to do. nor does this disprove my previous statement.Tiggnutz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:33 amHe never said he didn't take vaccines, he wants to know why they are not tested to the same standard as other medications.zombie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:27 amyeah, rfk reportedly has taken vaccines too. and he photo op-ed support of fastfood that he believes to be unhealthy as it is currently. he is more than willing to say one thing and do another.Lazerus wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:38 amI have been given vaccines over the years, including the Flu and Covid ones and never had any problems.

it could be a good thing. if it's not, trump and rfk will find a way to spin it in their favor, or not talk about it until the media moves on.Tiggnutz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:41 amSounds like a good thing to mezombie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:36 amasking questions alone is not what he was brought into trump's cabinet to do.Tiggnutz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:33 amHe never said he didn't take vaccines, he wants to know why they are not tested to the same standard as other medications.zombie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:27 amyeah, rfk reportedly has taken vaccines too. and he photo op-ed support of fastfood that he believes to be unhealthy as it is currently. he is more than willing to say one thing and do another.Lazerus wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:38 amI have been given vaccines over the years, including the Flu and Covid ones and never had any problems.
