For some reason I am on the fence about that one.
I really liked the remake they did back in 2010 but after seeing the trailer for this one. IDK it just seems too different from the source material.
I didn't care for the Invisible Man either.

I saw a Wolf Man teaser that really made it seem like it could be very good. Then I saw an actual trailer and was totally turned off by it.

Universal should have stuck with their idea of a shared universe for their "monsters". The Mummy was a poor attempt to start that concept but they could have just rebooted and started it off with Dracula or one of the others. Instead they got cold feet and made a BS version of the Invisible Man and now this crap. SMH

The universal monsters were a shared universe originally back in the day. An updated version of that would be awesome to see if it's done right.

if this proposed monsters universe had the same actors showing up in random roles between them, i might be swayed. otherwise, nah.

Dream's activity was really spotty before Laz's return. I could be remembering wrong, but I think she got a big promotion which has dramatically eaten into her time?

yeah, that is part of the situation. i can assure with near certainty that none of the reason has to do with laz coming back.

As for Dream, I never thought anything of her absence until someone brought it up in a private conversation not long ago. She last posted a week before I returned, then hasn't been around since. Her account even says inactive. Now all that could be just a coincidence. But you could see why myself and others would come to that conclusion given her and I's history.

I'm not holding onto the past just putting out there a possible explanation for her absence but I hope I am wrong tbh.

I'm not expecting that Wolfman will be good but I did like The Invisible Man so there is hope
