That's based off real Loggia. Robert waited for hours wanting the Frank Booth role in the Blue Velvet casting. Lynch had to come out and break it to him that Dennis Hopper was cast, and fucking Loggia lost his motherfucking shit. So memorable, Lynch wrote that for him so he wouldn't kill him.
