Halloween Ends

I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another
Seven trying to keep him locked up for I realized what was
Living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply...evil

Pretty much everything. The focus on some rando no one cares about and the weird ass ending being the biggest points of contention. It's also just plain boring.

This here!

It was an overall let down to what could have been a great legacy sequel trilogy. Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills were great! Solid follow ups to the original but for some reason they decided to fuck it up with Ends by focusing on a character that was not present in the other two and had no connection to those events. Michael Myers was reduced to a frail version of his former self living in the sewers. Lori has suddenly snapped out of her former state and playing the awesome grandmother after having just lost her own child to Michael a few years earlier. WTF!

Shit writing and shit film!

I find the story interesting and engaging...but as the capper to a saga...it's a failure.

Hate it so much it's questionable if I ever watch it again. If I do it's for Darcy's cameo

I feel it should have been it's own stand alone story/film, focused on the Cory character. They could have easily set it in the same universe as Halloween, creating a loose connection if that's what they wanted. Instead we got a shit film where not only was the new character wasted but so was Michael and others.
