So, how did everyone sleep? Goodnight's rest? Me, I slept like a lil baby. For the first time in forever (exactly 4 years), I went to sleep with the knowledge that our borders are secure, not having to worry about people infiltrating my backyard. The key fob won't work. I swapped out the battery (twice) and it still won't unlock the car. So I just used my girlfriend's SUV because I was on a timeframe. It's probably something minor but you know how mechanics are. They will charge you out the ass!

I won't be able to deal with it until this weekend, I've got a full schedule with meetings etc. over the next few days.

Discovered this Guess Who song a couple weeks ago. It really feels like they were going for The Doors here. Strikingly similar vocals to Jim Morrison from The End. Thoughts anyone?

Edit: To add... The End was released in 1967. Friends of Mine by The Guess Who was released in 1969.

i can hear some doors influence in the guess who's friend of mine. but they definitely have more offer than just a riff on the earlier song.
