Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
On the Trump/Bass thing: Trump said people told him it would take eighteen months to get things started, Bass said that's not the case, but he kept repeating it anyway. She then said it would take about a week, so he complained about that being too long. A week to clean up all that shit seems reasonable to me. It's not like it was a small fire in a deserted area. Trump also said people should be allowed to clean up their own houses, Bass said they can. That's about the extent of their exchange.
People are just taking clips of shit and making it more than it is.

Large cities that suffered horrific devastation have rebuilt quickly. Joplin was one of the biggest tornado disasters ever and they average like 5-10 homes rebuilt per week. That's just one example. Most Oklahoma and Kansas areas are generally terrific at this.
You cannot compare the DFW metroplex to fucking Kansas or Joplin! The population of DFW in 2024 was estimated at 8.4 million. A large tornado cut a swath through the Preston Hollow area of East Dallas all the way into parts of Garland about 4 years ago. It took nearly 2 years to repair everything and it wasn't for a lack of effort by the communities etc.

If he didn't fly to California and put a foot in their ass I have no doubt shit would have taken longer to get done. Homeowners are criticizing her in that full interview and she deserves it. Wish Gavin was sitting next to her but he probably won't show his face in Los Angeles again. They ignored wildfire protocol, left the reservoirs empty, deterred rainwater putting us in a drought and exacerbated a wildfire tenfold. Suddenly we trust them to clear out debris in a timely manner? Yeah right. They should have been doing that a week ago.Slaughterhouserock wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 6:57 am On the Trump/Bass thing: Trump said people told him it would take eighteen months to get things started, Bass said that's not the case, but he kept repeating it anyway. Two years is not bad. Before Trump arrived, homeowners were being told a permit could take 18 months for them to even get started cleaning their own debris. Suddenly it'll only take a week. The ineptitude and lack of giving a shit by the politicians in California is so clear.Lazerus wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 11:42 amThis here!Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 4:54 pmExcept there's only 10 homes in all of Kansas.Jason wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 4:31 pmDidn't you live in Dallas?

2 years isn't bad to rebuild a gutted city in its entirety. 2 years to begin rebuilding is what is horrific.Lazerus wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 5:37 am2 years isn't bad? These guys like to predict infectious disease outbreaks once Trump is elected. Weird. The first one that came out supposedly came from Chinese people eating bats until it was revealed that they lied and it was literally created and released from a lab. "Natural pandemic". Fool me once...

“The history of the last 32 years that I have been the director of the NIAID will tell the next administration that there is no doubt they will be faced with the challenges their predecessors were faced with,” he said. Fauci and others noted some of the disease outbreaks that recent administrations have faced, including current President Barack Obama, whose administration was tested early on with an H1N1 influenza pandemic in 2009. More recently, the administration was forced to repurpose almost $600 million in federal funds set aside for the Ebola outbreak when Republicans rejected Obama’s request for $1.9 billion to fund the nation’s Zika response... "No matter what, history has told us definitively that [outbreaks] will happen because [facing] infectious diseases is a perpetual challenge," he said.

Was the Influenza pandemic created in a lab directly under Fauci's gain of function research that they disguised as a natural pandemic from Chinese people eating bats?Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 3:20 pm"During a forum on pandemic preparedness at Georgetown University, Fauci said the Trump administration will not only be challenged by ongoing global health threats such as influenza and HIV, but also a surprise disease outbreak.Jason wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 2:46 pm These guys like to predict infectious disease outbreaks once Trump is elected. sounds like they didn't fully understand how it was transmitted in the 1980s.

It's not the most biological, psychological, diabolical war crime you've ever seen?

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
Perhaps don't go on national television and paint things as fact when you haven't the slightest clue?

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
yeah. that would be better, but it's still not a conspiracy.
