Lots of freezing rain here, lights flickering off an on. I love snow but hate freezing rain. It causes too many issues.

While I have enjoyed the cooler weather and overall more relaxed atmosphere here in VA. I don’t think I will be sticking around permanently. The fucking power issues everytime we get ice are annoying.

The only reason I would move to VA is to have that license plate that says Virginia is for Lovers and somehow put Tiffany and Chucky on the plate.

I can't tell you how many times I have watched the hulk on Laz's sig flex. Not for the oily muscles. It is the last second neck strain. Good crap! It reminds me of The Thing. Like his head is separate from his body. LIke it could walk the frick off those shoulders. I'm impressed and oddly scared.

The only reason we moved here is because my gf's career. VA is beautiful and very laid back with the exception of the NOVA area and VA Beach, and even then I would argue those areas are not as hectic as DFW. Our home is on the outskirts of the city so it's very private and I don't have neighbors right on top of me next door so that's been a huge plus.

The Downside well there's a few:

1. Is majority of the cities here are basically small towns (by my standards) and lack a lot of the amenities and things we are used to down south. So, this has been an adjustment. lol

2. The lack of regulations on weed is frustrating! People go to work high and get away with it because the police don't care. Politics wise this state is basically purple and while I find that interesting, some of the views here are a but too left for me (I'm from deep red TX lol)

3. The biggest gripe my gf and I both have is that it's difficult to make real friends. It's very clickish here and we've noticed this trend in multiple different cities. We are both introverts but we're a not antisocial and while the people we've met are nice none of them seem interested in forming friendships with outsiders. whatever.

4. Again love the cooler climate but I don't know if we want to do these harsher winters for the rest of our lives. Plus the stupid power outage issues that happen every time we get freezing rain.

5. Lasty, the stupid luxury tax on vehicles. But since I still own my home in Texas I will just keep them registered there.
