Flair is my all-time favorite wrestler and I was a big Sting fan back in the day

He's one of mine as well. I was a big fan of Sting during his time feuding with the NWO but I feel his character became stale after all that.

I'm going back to NWA days when I was a Sting fan. I'm incredibly old

So many wrestling fans talk about the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras of wrestling like they're the cream of the crop. But the 1980's phase of wrestling was the best IMO. It's commonly referred to as the Golden Era by the IWC. But yeah, that generation of wrestlers was the full package. Great talent, what would ultimately become Sports Entertainment was new and fresh. Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania became a phenomenon not seen before in the industry. You had Flair, Macho Man, Demolition, The Von Erics, Nasty Boys, etc. I don't think we will ever see a peak like that era again imo. The current era is good and has had some of the best matches I've seen in the last 25 years, with a stacked roster but still doesn't top those years.

Ahahaha, I love you old heads talking, like Demolition and the Nasty Boys could wrestle worth a shit, they look like two outhouse shitholes that no one would take a piss on.
