True, but they are building to Bianca and Rhea. Might be SummerSlam though. Take in mind this is the first ever 2 night SummerSlam, they are gonna have to have Mania level matches in the pocket for it, just to sell out let alone hype. They barely sold out this Mania.
Wrestling ebbs and flows, I have a feeling the new management is biting off more than they can chew.
I agree with them biting off more than they can chew. I am not in favor of Summerslam being two nights. It's a bad idea and I believe this will be the only time they do it. SS is simply not WM and more often than not the event is the weakest of the big four.
Cena's heel turn could have been a huge event for this year but sadly they have weakened it with The Rock's absence and Scott's involvement last night didn't help any. Hopefully it can be salvaged but we will see.
Honestly I feel WWE's hot streak is starting to cool off some. This isn't a bad thing but if they don't get more creative storylines in place over the next year it will find itself back in a cold streak by 2027. Given the talented roster they currently have, they could get the momentum they had two years ago back in place with the right storylines and new talent.
I'm really enjoying this new storyline with Seth and Heyman. Now that Breaker has gotten involved I'm even more pumped about it.
I've never been a Seth fan but this storyline has my full attention!
Roman and Punk will have to work together against this new faction.
The hot potato crap with the Women's Tag titles doesn't make any sense. I hate it when they pull that shit.
Becky turning heel was unexpected by hopefully Lyra beats her ass and then she vanishes again for another year!
Cena's promo and then Randy attacking him was good. I'm looking forward to that match for sure!
Rhea appearing with Iyo but Bianca being absent confirms my suspicions that they are NOT building to the Rhea/Bianca match right now.
So, yeah I'm going to be pissed about it for a long while!
