Pretty impressive to get Jeff Beck and UFO into the top 25 tbh
Re: The HMF Draft Vol. 2 - Battle of the Bands (Discussion Thread)
Couldn't name 3 UFO songs but can't waste a veto

Scorps have a higher well known output so I would've expected them higher anyway.

Re: The HMF Draft Vol. 2 - Battle of the Bands (Discussion Thread)
I *was* going to play Joe Satriani instead of Beck, but felt he was too close to metal (his shred sensibilities, not the songwriting) to use, so I went with the guy who I really felt got Rock n Roll to jam with Train Kept A Roll'n back in the Yardbirds (Jimmy Page was on rhythm for that original version too).

Going no veto. But I don't care for the Talking Heads.

I took away his Come On Eileen. I can't do him dirty twice.Headhunter wrote: ↑Thu Jun 12, 2025 9:44 pmI would have at least considered my override. I think I would have had to leave it.
