What are your thoughts when it comes to buying unreleased films on a dvd-r? There's a film i'm looking at getting right now and it's doesn't have an official release and seems to be the only way to watch it. It's only gonna cost me a few cents shy of $6, so I won't be out that much.

When they don't wanna officially release it, but you can get access to a bootleg of it, I'm totally cool with that. Usually when I get tired of waiting for our country to release it and I get a bootleg of something awesome (like The Descent or [rec]2), the US finally decides to release it shortly after. It's funny how I'm a jinx like that

It's a German splatter movie from 1998 and it doesn't even look like it has an official release in Germany. Perhaps on VHS, but I literally can't find anything on the film. I only found like a one sentence review of it from a snippet in a book.

If it's that low budget and you're willing to pay 6 bucks to see it, then it's totally your call.

I once bought a copy of First Blood on DVD for a buck. 2 disc special edition, really good condition, and the first disc had a red/white/blue flag type cover and I was like "neat?". Turns out the first disc with the neat flag decoration was a CD-rom of some dumbass garage band.

Buy at your own risk. :p

There's this action movie called Forgotten Warrior and half way through the movie they use the Jaws theme as a woman is about to get raped. I was laughing pretty hard on that one.

so, the consensus on wonder woman seems to be that it's the best dceu movie. (man of steel, bvs, suicide squad), and that it feels like a classic adventure superhero movie. (in the way that logan is supposed to feel like a western superhero movie, and winter soldier is supposed to feel like a spy thriller superhero movie)

Practically every single superhero movie gets a review like that when it comes out, so I'll refrain from holding my breath.

i didn't show a review. but it's best to wait to see the movie for yourself, obviously.
