The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
KILLER PARTY
Killer Party does it all, and does it all so well. 80's cheese and overall humor is excellent. The kills are entertaining and not a dull moment in the build up. Then the entire 3rd act just gets dark as fuck. At minimum a 4.5/5. This might get a five star rating from me.

Blood Rage was great perfectly cheesy 80's style. Now for Society

Society is really weird like Videodrome weird. I think it has something to do with an orgy

Poltergeist (2015)
I wasn't real impressed the first go around. Thought I'd give it another shot.

Curse of Sleeping Beauty. I guess it’s got a haunted house feel for parts. A bit of dream theater. But not sure it coalesces into a sensible film.

aside from magic, i haven't seen any of those. would you recommend them? (as in blue sunshine or the new daughter) what did you like about them, without spoilers?flyingspider wrote:I guess I put my last post in the wrong place, sorry...I lost my focus for a while yesterday, took a little break, and now I am back.
Most of the movies I have watched have been first time viewings, and most of them I have liked. Magic was one of those, Blue Sunshine, and The New Daughter were a couple more.
Ones that dragged on, that I had to push myself to keep watching were Daughters of Satan, Snow Creature, and The Strange and Deadly Occurrence.
Thoughts?

Black and white Dracula movie from Pakistan. Love the dance and song sequences, but India does it better.Jigsaw wrote:Zinda Laash (1967)

Compared to other slashers of the time, I always thought the best part of The Mutilator was the tagline ("By pick, by axe, by sword, bye bye!").Tiggnutz wrote:It got good towards the end.Tiggnutz wrote:So far.....MehTiggnutz wrote:The Mutilator....God bless Shudder been wanting to see this for years
