Watch'n good ol' Dawn Of The Dead (original, extended cut)
Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
By some miracle of the Gods, 3rd, 4th and 5th parties came together for 85 minutes to allow me to watch the fucking Babysitter and it was awesomely retarded with an A-level hot chick.

Now that you’ve said that it kind of makes sense hat I felt like she looked familiar in some way. Maybe that’s what it was. Did not know that.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:That's Hugo Weaving's niece tooJason wrote:By some miracle of the Gods, 3rd, 4th and 5th parties came together for 85 minutes to allow me to watch the fucking Babysitter and it was awesomely retarded with an A-level hot chick.

According to IMDb, yes.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Never saw it, but wasn't that a pilot for an attempted show?Jigsaw wrote:Today's surprise favorite was Bates Motel (1987). That movie was all over the place (so much corny drama), but I loved the hell out of it.
"This film was originally planned as a pilot (90 minutes long TV- movie) for a possible TV series, but due to low-ratings and lack of interest from an audience, producers shelved the idea."
Series probably would have been horrible, but the movie itself was oddly enjoyable and charming.

Crystal Force (1990) is such a dull movie, though occasionally enjoyable scenes break through.
Shame all these characters seem the same to me, though.![Tongue :P](./images/smilies/icon_tongue.gif)

Damn. Girl in the Box was actually damn good. Almost rivals Burnt Offerings for favorite new watch. I bought it thinking it was gonna be some cheap, piece of crap, WalMart edition horror flick. Turned out to be a really pleasant new watch. Glad I picked it up. Would recommend.
Based on the true story of the girl that was kidnapped in the 70's and held as a slave for 7 years.

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
Saw nine movies today, mostly solid overall. I saw these:
Beyond the Gates (2016)
The Bisbee Cannibal Club (2002)
The Lights (2009)
Ravana's Game (2014)
Die Die Delta Pi (2013)
City in Panic (1986)
Crystal Force (1990)
Amsterdamned (1988)
Cruise Into Terror (1978)
Best among them was Amsterdamned, followed not too far behind by City in Panic (a lower-quality but enjoyable Canadian slasher).
Beyond the Gates was fun, and both The Lights and Ravana's Game (which I viewed via a screener I got some years back) had great elements throughout.
Die Die Delta Pi was somewhat enjoyable, but fell apart a bit toward the end. Cruise Into Terror was okay, if not a bit boring at points, being late 70's television horror.
Crystal Force was pretty forgettable overall, and The Bisbee Cannibal Club wasn't that enjoyable a story or film, truth be told.
