You cannot give tax cuts to people who do not pay taxes in the first place. So of course tax cuts will disproportionately favor payers over non-payers. 95% of the whiners don't pay taxes, but think they do.

Since many, many people work for corporations, giving corporate tax cuts means the corporations are in better position, and thusly, more money available for investment and pay, while also enhancing long term stability.

I run a corporation. I can tell you for a fact, the money we have after taxes influences what we are able to pay employees. It is not a difficult concept.

To understand the implications of a corporate tax cut, you have to understand the basics of how an economy works and stop worrying so much about the guy next to you who has more than you.

I audited countless corporations in the UK when the corporation tax rates were cut consistently every year. I can say with absolute certainty there is no link between corporation tax cuts and wage increases.

The UK has about a million other issues offsetting those cuts. No one wants to invest there. We are talking about the US.

The UK was too late in just trying to be competitive with their taxes. They lost so much business to the world and no one really trusts them to maintain the rate cuts. In fact, they are not even fully phased in and the political tide is already turning to phase them out.

Fine. Stay with the US and you can’t find an example of it working either. Also, you are basically saying your anecdote about a food truck proves your point but my example of multiple multinationals isn’t.

Plus the question was about wage increases, not generating new business.

Generating new business is the exact opposite of what this bill doesgivrn the incentives to offshore more business and reduce investment in the US.

Let's start here. If you are a multi-National corporation, are you going to build your foundation in a country that is conducive to doing business with low taxes, or go elsewhere? A foundation of your economy is how easy and productive it is to do business within it. Technology has made the world much more competitive. You have to compete.

Having more jobs in your economy drives up wages because the number of available workers doesn't really change. So the companies that do business here drive up wages.

Here is the things liberals will never understand. You cannot tax 0. Companies aren't just going to stay here and build businesses for your enjoyment, they have to make money. Taxes take away the money. Taxes get too high and they leave or never start, thus you end with zero.

I live in an area with no major retail stores. Why? Because we have a 6% sales tax and it is so easy to access a state with 0% sales tax. Taxes matter.

Real stretch there.

The real problem is that even if every thing assumed there is true, there is still no real case. Then, the hurdle to impeach. Then the hurdle to remove Trump (which is the ultimate goal of those pushing the agenda here). It is pointless.

All this is really showing is that Trump has been honest about the Russia thing. This entire investigation is about Russian collusion with the Trump campaign during the election. After all of it, the key guy is going to state there was no collusion during the election, and he got in touch with the Russians after the election to discuss plans to jointly fight terrorists.
