Finally found out after nine years that the cause of death for the greatest man I've ever known was the drug Mefloquine. Commonly issued military drug at the time. The last person anyone would ever expect to commit suicide did so because of this drug. We met at 5 years old. He left for the Air Force immediately after high school. Was there a few years. I can't help but wonder if we had maintained steady contact if I could have done anything to prevent the suicide or not. Found out that other military comrades he worked with noticed bizarre behavior from him... "Watch out for terrorists!" kinds of messages... He had such a cool head on his shoulders, definitely not like him. I wish we were still in daily contact at the time, or even could've been there with him. Maybe I could've helped prevent it.

Met with his Dad tonight (last night). First time I saw him since the funeral. Gave me all that information, plus a uniform and I think the key to his barracks, or maybe a locker. I made a necklace out of it.

The closure was nice. I spent years thinking he may have just committed suicide completely on his own, which is completely unlike somebody like him. Knowing he got the total shit end of those side effects is kind of an uplifting feeling. I knew there was no way he would've ever just done this himself.

Just finished Cult of Chucky about 15 minutes ago. Very mixed feelings overall. Long story short, Curse of Chucky was a much better movie.

Hello from Chick-Fil-A in Murrieta, CA! On my way to Petco Park in sunny Sandy Eggo to watch the Rockies whoop on the Padres.

Haven't been to Chick Fil A in a while. Should remedy, but there's none near by.
