My work is the first place I've had Sick Time (Dick Time for Seb). Though, I have to build the hours up. I get to use them when it's slow so my paycheck doesn't completely suck. Unfortunately it's been slow a lot lately, so if I do get sick, I'm pretty screwed.

Man. My emotions have been odd and all over the place. One minute I'm trying to convince myself to be OK with dying, the next minute I feel like a million bucks and nothing is wrong. Then the clot thing starts bugging me in my head. I had a panic/anxiety attack about half an hour ago or an hour ago. Heart started pounding, felt completely helpless, alone and out of control. It went away after 30 seconds or a minute. Right now I feel so fantastic for some reason, I don't know why. I feel so at peace. Without the slightest worry. I don't know how to find a way to keep a perspective, but right now I hope the one I have at this moment never goes away. The way I feel right now is the way I always want to feel. I don't think I have ever felt better about life than in this moment. Don't know if it'll last one more minute or 20 years, but I have never felt so euphoric and peaceful.

Glad you're doing better, Jason. Take it easy and it might be time for you to look into short-term disability. Your case is one of those that should have a legit claim to "inability to work for medical reasons". Hopefully, the doctors can get your case to a more manageable place where it is only short-term assistance that you need.
