An objective mind can decipher the conflicting tales and determine which is likely true. There are "historians" who flat out lie about historical events to strengthen their own political agenda. And those historians are almost all unanimously liberal.

Literally every history book issued in schools still teaches that Oswald was the lone gunman and that Jack Ruby loved his beloved president so much that he went mad with rage and shot Oswald in police custody. A nice fairy tale I'd like to believe, but to seek truth means to be objective and question everything you don't know. You do none of these.
