Re: NBA Playoffs
Would you look at that. That one blatantly obvious no-call was a 4-point swing, and now the Warriors have surpassed the -3.5 spread by a mere 1.5 points.Jason wrote:That no-call on Love shows me that these refs are total pieces of shit and are clearly working the game. Definitely not saying they are in it all the way for GS. Could be a game-by-game point spread or something. But this was a complete and total Tim Donaghy feel. Basketball sucks.
The no-call against James on the final three attempt made it even more obvious.
This sport is a total joke.
Re: NBA Playoffs
That said. Durant has done more than enough to get the MVP from LeBron in a Cavs losing effort. Been speculated that LeBron could win it for simply being the obvious best player on the court. Durant has near matched him, but with significant help.
KD Finals MVP.

Re: NBA Playoffs
As incredible as Bron was, he could have closed this one. Missed easy layup, settled a couple times.
Warriors shot like the Warriors tonight and that's all that matters sadly. The Cavs played their ASSES off. That was two games worth of effort in 48 mins, it was awesome. And it didn't matter. Fuck.

KD has been the star of the series and that's with LeBron playing as well as he's ever played. He's unstoppable on that team and he's been amazing on defense too.Jason wrote:That said. Omg. Cavs were -12 in the mere two minutes LeBron was off the court, in a five point loss.

Greatest player ever. Perhaps in any sport. Despite my utter hatred for the NBA, basketball at its core is a game I really like and would definitely love the sport if it weren't so fucked up. Gotta see this dude play once in my life.

Re: NBA Playoffs
He still could have done more when they should have closed the game out. Three or four possessions where he had a basket and either settled or passed. Not letting him completely off the hook there. Best player in the world needs to get a bucket there. All they needed was one.

Warriors are the biggest heels since the Bad Boys.Reign in Blood wrote:At least wanted a series out of it. We needed heel LeBron.

Re: NBA Playoffs
This series is over. They seem to be a juggernaut.
If LBJ somehow wins 4 in a row and becomes the first team to win a Best of 7 when down 0-3, he will officially have established himself as the greatest post-season player there has ever been. And one of the greatest in general.

Not gonna happen against this team, unless something happens to Durant or Curry.

Re: NBA Playoffs
That was the best home whistle I've ever seen for a team. NBA needed Game 5.
