The left don't seem to be fans of unity.

Re: Trump: The Great Uniter
They do not. The left are turning rabidly anti-Trump and slowly anti-GOP. Meanwhile the right are vehemently anti-Left and anti-Libs etc.Jason wrote:The left don't seem to be fans of unity.
You’ve warped your politics into a pointless two-party stalemate where turnout against the current party will keep dominating the scene for the coming cycles. Making governing all but impossible and making the presidency toxic.
Trump is awful objectively but some of the stuff the left is coming out with is visibly exaggerated hyperbole peddled as fact. That becomes a problem. Then you have no common ground anywhere.

Lulz. Trump Derangement Syndrome? Lmao. How about Obama Derangement Syndrome? Trumps first week in office y'all's giving credit to Trump for Obama's numbers lmao. I have, a few times, said things I've liked that Trump has done......to crickets on here.Jason wrote:At this point it's a 90% chance Trump gets re-elected. Sorry, Seb. I know you got the Trump Derangement Syndrome as some others also do here, but he's gonna be around for the remainder of this presidency and likely another four.
"Mr. Kim Jong, tear down this wall" was only the beginning.

Re: Trump: The Great Uniter
And I'm not gonna deny thst Trump has done a good job with things like that, so far. Those things have been getting better since 2012. Both deserve some sort of credit. Americans these days are too one sided on everything.....including facts. People avoid and deny facts because of their hatred for "the other party".Jmac Attack wrote:Unemployment, economy, etc.Jason wrote:What Obama numbers?
Re: Trump: The Great Uniter
Uh, no. I was praising Trump before he even got into office because he was stopping American companies from moving to Mexico and China by increasing the import taxes on businesses operating outside the U.S. to combat manipulated currencies. Obama had fuckall to do with that. If any other president were elected, companies would've packed their bags and been long gone by now. These moves by Trump single-handedly created hundreds of thousands of jobs because of the companies expanding and not doing so outside of the country. Obama is just an idiot. Cuba deal was good, that was it. 8 years and we can smoke Cuban cigars now. What a raging success of a presidency.

The only thing anyone said was that Trump was gonna fuck those rookie Obama numbers up.

Obummer is on record saying anything higher than 2.7 GDP growth is unrealistic. It's at 4.1 under Trump. Obama is below rookie status.

Re: Trump: The Great Uniter
And that's a good thing, and kudos to Trump. I have always bitched about the GDP. You won't see me blindly denying it. Obama inherited a horrible mess. The turn around started under his administration. Ugh. And you complain about stubborn liberals. LolJason wrote:Obummer is on record saying anything higher than 2.7 GDP growth is unrealistic. 4.1%? Lol. Good luck selling that as the long term trends.Jason wrote:Obummer is on record saying anything higher than 2.7 GDP growth is unrealistic. It's at 4.1 under Trump. Obama is below rookie status.

Inane metric which fails to identify anything meaningful. Just like credit for stock market gains or losses.

Right now, if you want a job, you have a job. That is a pretty great start towards a great economy.

No. It isn’t a good measure of the economy. Unemployment perhaps. But not the economy.Foo wrote:Right now, if you want a job, you have a job. That is a pretty great start towards a great economy.
