8. Planes Trains & Automobiles
9. Aliens
10. The Shining

8. It
9. The Shape Of Water
10. Logan

Honorable Mentions: Train To Busan, The Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: Winter Soldier

Interesting things of note:

I love Ridley Scott as a director, yet none of his films cracked the top 10's, only in honorable mentions.
Only one Tarantino movie mentioned at all: The Hateful Eight. Pulp Fiction was creeping up for the 90's though, so it was close to Honorable mentions.
Only one Scorsese movie mentioned at all: Taxi Driver. Like Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas was also really close for getting an honorable mention in the 90s. 90's might not be great for horror, but damn good decade for other genres.
Also love John Carpenter, only two movies ranked, and none made it to honorable mentions. The 80's was suuuuuper competitive.
No Pixar
No Superhero movies mentioned until 2000's
Two different decades, two different Mad Max movies sitting on top of their decade

Pretty sure we've both seen it. Could crack my top 20 for the 1950s but "Easy top 5" is insane. It's probably the 5th best Hitchcock movie of that decade.

Also seen it. It's decent, but others stick to the ribs better for me.

It's a really solid, nicely pieced together murder mystery. It doesn't exactly stand out in Hitchcock's library, especially when held up against Rear Window, Vertigo and Psycho which were all groundbreaking.

It's not at all a murder mystery. Not even close. :p

You need to rewatch it. :p
It really does have my all-time favorite opening act in movie history.

"I thought of three different ways of killing him. I even thought of killing her... That seemed a far more sensible idea."

It's in my Hitchcock big three with Rear Window and Psycho. Can't pick a favorite. Definitely the most cozy Hitchcock suspense flick. Totally brilliant piece, without a flaw.

Not even close? How? It's a mystery about the fallout of an attempted murder. You can play the semantics game if you'd like.

It's a good movie.

Still disagree. There is no mystery here aside from not knowing how the movie is going to end. In which case, every movie with a murder is a murder mystery.

You should give it a rewatch dude. It's excellent.

I hope that is the last time I ever hear a movie described as cozy.
