They can sell the Fentanyl right next to the vaping supplies at gas stations!

What would be an effective drug policy, Tigg? I'd rather eliminate 10% of a problem than just throw my hands up and say nothing can be done.

Where do you draw the lines? Anything you ban is still a rich market but run by some of the worst people in the world.Tiggnutz wrote:I don't know brother it's a hard question but I think the middle alowing some while still banning some is the only logical answerHeadhunter wrote:What would be an effective drug policy, Tigg?

Meanwhile Foo is gonna be out here changing the world and breaking the 50,000 year cycle of people enjoying drugs.
There is no cure-all. Drugs come with inherent risks and those risks will inevitably lead to bad shit happening. If I can isolate drugs from other criminal enterprises, I think it's a net win.

that's true. so investigate. then leak to the public for one of two reasons. either to punch holes in her version of events or to turn people against the victim. which is the more likely. doesn't sound "innocent until proven guilty" from either side.Foo wrote:

i do. but i also believe in freedom of speech. they can do shitty things and i can protest them.Foo wrote:Do you believe in freedom of the press?zombie wrote:that's true. so investigate. then leak to the public for one of two reasons. either to punch holes in her version of events or to turn people against the victim. which is the more likely. doesn't sound "innocent until proven guilty" from either side.Foo wrote:

Sure, but do you equally protest the other side of this, such as the media who are trying to say the police investigation is corrupt without any evidence?zombie wrote:i do. but i also believe in freedom of speech. they can do shitty things and i can protest them.Foo wrote:Do you believe in freedom of the press?zombie wrote:that's true. so investigate. then leak to the public for one of two reasons. either to punch holes in her version of events or to turn people against the victim. which is the more likely. doesn't sound "innocent until proven guilty" from either side.Foo wrote:

Re: Asian small business owner is arrested...
you are suggesting that, or using that suggestion to hide behind. i haven't read what the media is saying about all of this. i lean toward her being honest, with her version of events, until i have reason to think otherwise.Foo wrote:Sure, but do you equally protest the other side of this, such as the media who are trying to say the police investigation is corrupt without any evidence?zombie wrote:i do. but i also believe in freedom of speech. they can do shitty things and i can protest them.Foo wrote:Do you believe in freedom of the press?zombie wrote:that's true. so investigate. then leak to the public for one of two reasons. either to punch holes in her version of events or to turn people against the victim. which is the more likely. doesn't sound "innocent until proven guilty" from either side.Foo wrote:

I lean towards allowing all the information to be found. Just one bit tying them together changes everything. The question is really of punishment at this point.zombie wrote:you are suggesting that, or using that suggestion to hide behind. i haven't read what the media is saying about all of this. i lean toward her being honest, with her version of events, until i have reason to think otherwise.Foo wrote:Sure, but do you equally protest the other side of this, such as the media who are trying to say the police investigation is corrupt without any evidence?zombie wrote:i do. but i also believe in freedom of speech. they can do shitty things and i can protest them.Foo wrote:Do you believe in freedom of the press?zombie wrote:that's true. so investigate. then leak to the public for one of two reasons. either to punch holes in her version of events or to turn people against the victim. which is the more likely. doesn't sound "innocent until proven guilty" from either side.Foo wrote:

yeah, punishment should depend on what she did. not on how the man lived his life, unless she's lying about why she shot him.Foo wrote: I lean towards allowing all the information to be found. Just one bit tying them together changes everything. The question is really of punishment at this point.
Re: Asian small business owner is arrested...
I am not sure why you are so hung up on the weed. It is just a fact. Are you gonna make a big fuss protecting the wacky weed if it is found in the cop's system?zombie wrote:yeah, punishment should depend on what she did. not on how the man lived his life, unless she's lying about why she shot him.Foo wrote: I lean towards allowing all the information to be found. Re: Asian small business owner is arrested...
that would be a different story. if the man had actually been an intruder in her home, and weed was found in his car, it would also be a different story. so no, i'm not "protecting the weed".Foo wrote:I am not sure why you are so hung up on the weed.
