Your bias has him being a rapist because he's conservative but try to step outside of that for a second how would you act if you were accused of rape in a scenario that's impossible to disprove becuase the only knowledge the victim has is it was you who did it decades ago. on the flipside, how would you act if someone assaulted you, and witnesses that you were sure were there, didn't remember being there. and then backlash and ridicule started up, because of you seeming to be dishonest. would you start to doubt coming forward any further? would you find reasons or ways to push it off, out of anxiety and fear?

In Sweeden and the UK are you considered guilty because of an accusation I would think that not the case in any civilized free society. People are wrongly accused and spend decades in prison because of someone mistakenly honestly believing something. I hate this argument that it's not a trial and there is no need for evidence that is such an archaic way of doing things.

And that’s why abusing women continues unabated. The odds of facing negative consequences are way too low for the men involved in this behavior and the likelihood of women reporting things decreases with every case like this one where a woman comes forward to do the right thing to the detriment of herself and her family, to subject herself to total humiliation and threatening behavior, and to the despite these sacrifices be turned away and disbelieved. It won’t ever get better if this is how it operates in every sphere we are in.

I certainly wouldn't wait 48 years for the absolute perfect time to damage people politically. You see this a lot in the NFL, too. The minute a rookie is drafted and gets a huge payday, young women claim sexual assault. Happened with Peyton fucking Manning of all people. A woman giving him a physical exam in college made some assault claims. The bitch's story changed after a few years. Peyton's side has always been that he lifted up his gown and mooned his teammates who were watching through the window. Once he got to the NFL (perfect timing!), she claimed he sexually mooned her and not the other way around. Peyton's story never changed, but years later she came back with it (coincidentally when he got a 96 million dollar payday) and said he pinned her down and shoved his dick and balls on her face. Peyton Manning. lol. She should be in prison for trying to pull that horse shit.

Anecdotal, and very personal, but my Uncle's daughter who was 12 at the time claimed he touched her sexually. Once the police came, grilled him and arrested him, she apologized profusely and said she only did it because he thought one of her friends was a really bad influence and wouldn't let her stay the night at her house. It is becoming a "thing" to accuse men of sexual assault or rape or whatever. My Uncle's daughter did it because she was mad at him. Not even a teenager and already learned of the horse shit that so many women try to pull. They still went through the investigation, and everyone in the family knew she was lying anyway, but if she was still pissed at him, she could have easily stuck to her guns and my Uncle would be in prison for the rest of his life.

Women are doing a tremendous disservice to themselves by lying about sexual assault and rape.
