Stacey Abrams debt

It will get heated. Can't take it, don't open the forum.

Stacey Abrams debt

Does this cross the line to where you would be concerned with the person's decision making in running an entire state?

That might be a concern for Georgia voters. So might this - https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... brian-kemp

For sure. Can those people file provisional ballots?

I don't know. I just know that both Abrams and Kemp have issues. Personally, I don't think having debt is a problem - many Americans do. But I wouldn't vote for Abrams if I lived in Georgia, either. I definitely wouldn't vote for Kemp.

My point is that voters need to know as much as possible about each of the candidates (including Libertarian Ted Metz, and write-in candidates Bobby Waldrep, Bobby Williams, David Byrne, and Rod Mack), not just selective pieces against a specific candidate (I'm not saying you're doing this, I'm just saying in general).

My issue is not the debt. In a way, I like that it shows she is not engaging in massive corruption. Student debt, I think anyone can understand. $50,000 in back taxes? It is not like she is a small government conservative, she is going to ask other people to pay their taxes and will likely try to raise them on many of the same people in the same position she was in. (high earner)

She made $177,000 working for a non-profit one year. She tells a story of helping her mom and dad, but her mom was fundraising over $100k for Katrina and she has a couple other siblings who earn real well, like a sister who was appointed to be a federal judge by Obama and another sister who is some kind of big shot. Her parents are alive and well. I am missing something.
