Island of Lost Souls is indeed a classic. I watched it for the second or third time just a week or so before October. Great movie.

Frankenstein Created Woman was a lot more fun than I had expected. Felt almost like a solid proto-slasher for the last 45 minutes or so. Good stuff.

It was a huge toss up between Johan Johanson's music score from Mandy and JC's return on Halloween, but there are new themes brought in Halloween (2018) that were fucking amazing, especially The Shape Hunts Alyson, as well as variations on old themes that felt unique to the installment itself.
